This is the opportunity for our young student athletes get out on the wrestling mats for another
great season of Panther Wrestling! The coaches, Plymouth Wrestling Booster Club (PWBC),
and parent volunteers will do our best to create the right environment for our athletes to become
great people, not just great wrestlers. With your support, we can continue the tradition we have
here in Plymouth and promote future success both on and off the mat.
The youth program is open to both boys and girls from novice to expert skill levels. Coaching
will focus on developing skills through practicing, drilling, positioning, games, and mastering
technique. The athletes will also wrestle matches in practice. The coaches will support families
that decide to have their wrestler compete in local, regional, or state level youth tournaments.
Practices will be held on various Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights as required to avoid
conflicts with the High School Wrestling schedule. Youth wrestlers and their families are
encouraged to check out the high school wrestling schedule and come cheer on the Plymouth
wrestlers. We also encourage the 5-8th grade wrestlers to join the Riverview Wrestling team
starting in February.
